In this composition, the avenue is defined primarily by its surface. The pavement occupies most of the visual field, transforming the street into a broad reflective plane where architecture and color are absorbed rather than merely mirrored.

With the sky remaining diffuse and undefined, light spreads horizontally across the scene, reinforcing the dominance of the ground. Reflections fragment and overlap, creating layered chromatic fields that stretch along the central axis of the avenue and deepen the sense of spatial continuity.

The buildings frame the composition without overpowering it, allowing the reflective surface to carry both structure and movement. Color flows across the pavement as a memory of rain, holding the city in a suspended state between density and release.
